Grade 4 Goes to the Minnesota Orchstra!

 What a great day our fourth graders had listening to a concert at Orchestra Hall.  Thank-you to the Wenger Foundation for funding the trip to hear the Minnesota Orchestra.
The kids loved it!

New Year and New Events!

This trimester has so many exciting happenings!

• The All City Choir begins for selected 5th and 6th graders
• Lincoln Choir begins again!
• 5 Lincoln Students perform with the OAKE Choir
• 5NE performs for the OAKE Conference in March
• Grade 4 goes to the Minnesota Orchestra Concert!

It's Concert Week Everyone!

This week we have been working altogether in the gym rehearsing as large groups to prepare for our concert.  Grades 3, 4 and 5 will perform with the Lincoln Choir as well.  The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. at OHS.  Directions and concert maps can be found on the "Winter Concert Page"

We are having a great time making music and are fortunate enough to have 3 music faculty perform with us.  Mrs. Sorenson will be playing flute, Mrs. Guenther will be playing clarinet and Mr. Zastrow will be playing electric bass for the choir,

Thanks so much for your patience as I have been out ill for much of this month so far. My voice is returning and it is time to prepare for our concert!

Grades 3,4 and 5 have new things to practice on your pages!  So much to memorize, but remember, We can do hard things!

It's concert time again.  You will find the words to your songs (grades 3, 4, 5 and E2) on your blog pages.  Have a friend join you and work on memorizing your songs!
